May 6-13

Now that it is getting warmer, we try to spend plenty of time at the park.  Avery and her friend Presli discovered that they could go down the slide together.  It was so cute!

Avery thought these little port holes were the coolest thing.

I took some pictures of the kids this week.  I wanted to give my mom some updated photos for Mothers Day.  The photo shoots were short and frustrating, but I think we got a few good ones!  Unfortunately, I didn't get any good ones of Beckett by himself... so I will have to try again sometime.

We went to story time again.  They read books on mothers and made really cute paper flowers to give to their moms.

We can't leave the Library with out sitting in the play house and reading a few books.

A fun rain storm came in on Thursday.  Avery insisted that she get her rain boots on and jump around in the rain. I tried to get a picture of her after, but she wouldn't let me...she was soaked!

I frequently find her trying to walk around in my shoes.
I could not stop laughing at her in my boots!

Avery got a hair cut this week.  It was much need!
We cut about two inches off the back so that it now matches the front.
 It looks so much better!

Every mothers day weekend we plant flowers outside.
I love planting and gardening!  It was perfect weather to be outside.

The front flower bed was out of control with weeds and over grown bushes.
It took me forever to clean it up before the I could actually plant.
It looks funny having such small flowers right now, but it is going to look awesome once they
 all fill in :)

I had a great Mothers Day!  It was such a nice relaxing day.
I love my little family.  I love being a mom.  I know everyone says this...
but it really is the best and hardest thing I have ever done.  I have only been a mom for a
few years, so I feel like I don't know much, but at the same time I have learned so much! I wouldn't trade these crazy munchkins for the world!
We also tried a new recipe on Pinterest- fruit salsa with cinnamon chips.  Seriously good!
I hope all of you ladies had a great Mothers Day too!

Apr 29- May 5

We did a lot this week!
Monday was really warm and of course that means we have to spend the day outside!  We met up with friends at a park and also tried to fly the kite.  It was totally windy up until we got the kite out...then it stopped.  So Nikki ran around with it so the kids could still have fun!
We spent lots of time on the trampoline
Tuesday was another really warm day so of course we hit the park again!  What else do you do when you live in a small town?!
I tried to take some pictures of us on my phone, and Avery wouldn't stop doing this...
I caught Beckett licking the cheese in Avery's left over snack...gross...he couldn't get enough!
Wednesday morning we headed to story time at the library.  Avery loves books and she really likes the singing and craft after.  This week they read a few books about frogs, so they made a cute frog on a lilly pad.
Later that day we headed to another park with friends!
Avery found a butterfly on this tree and wouldn't leave it alone.  She was fascinated with it! Can you see it?
Thursday a storm came in and brought some snow!  It was in the 80's and then dropped into the 30's in 24 hours.  Ugg.  So we didn't do anything Thursday.
It was snowing when we woke up Friday morning, and it rained/snowed all day!  So we decided to drive to the city with friends and let the kids play at Xtreme Gymnastics.  Best idea ever! Friday mornings are open for preschool age kids to play around.  Avery had a blast!  She ran around for a solid two hours.  There was so much to do, she almost didn't know what to do with herself.  I couldn't stop laughing at her going down the slide!  It was seriously high and she had the look of terror and excitement all the way down.  She was really confused about the foam pits, it took her a while to decide it was ok to get in.
Beckett wasn't so sure about them either!
Saturday was cold and rainy, so of course we didn't do much.
So...that was the extent of our fun!

I have to add this cute picture of Beckett in a hat!

Oh, and he figured out how to hold his bottle this week!
